Closing Ceremony | OUT for Business 2022-23
We are excited to announce the upcoming Virtual Closing Ceremony of the OUT for Business 2022-23 Mentorship Program, scheduled for August 24th at 12:30 PM ET. The OUT for Business Program aims to empower LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and professionals by providing them with mentorship, guidance, and support. This closing ceremony will mark the culmination of months of hard work, growth, and learning for our mentees, mentors, and partners.
By attending this event, you will have the chance to celebrate the achievements of the program participants, hear inspiring stories of personal and professional growth, and connect with fellow members of the CGLCC community who are passionate about fostering LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship.
The event promises to be inspiring and insightful, as we have the privilege of hosting a keynote speaker, Mandy Potter, a distinguished queer entrepreneur. Her journey and experiences will undoubtedly provide valuable lessons and encouragement to both mentors and mentees alike.

Mandy Potter is a serial entrepreneur with over a decade of experience building and scaling successful technology startups. She was previously the co-founder for Cleanify (acquired) and Jane Technologies and is currently the Chief Revenue Officer for Duoplane. As a queer female entrepreneur, Mandy is very passionate about inclusivity within technology. Her dedication to connecting the entrepreneur community along with members of marginalized groups is uniting and elevating Canada’s entrepreneurship community. When she’s not building startups, you can find Mandy spending time with her wife and daughter, traveling, rescuing dogs or cooking in her spare time.”
Mandy recently launched a company with my partner that we’ve worked on for over a year. We help queer and trans people (and others) build families the same way that we successfully conceived our daughter. Take a peek here: tryjoey.com
