2023 Supplier Diversity Award Winners Announced

Kingston, ON – June 15, 2023 CGLCC announced the recipients of the 2023 2SLGBTQI+ Supplier Diversity Awards, honoring individuals and companies that actively promote 2SLGBTQI+ supplier diversity within the realm of Canadian corporate procurement and business.

Supported by prominent Canadian corporations, CGLCC’s 2SLGBTQI+ supplier diversity program highlights the significance of inclusive procurement practices in fostering the economic empowerment of more than 100,000 2SLGBTQI+ owned businesses across Canada.

The awards ceremony took place at the Global 2SLGBTQI+ Business Summit & Supplier Diversity Forum, held over three days from June 14 to 16 at the Holiday Inn Kingston-Waterfront in Kingston, Ontario. The event successfully blended both in-person and virtual participation.

The winners were chosen based on their unwavering dedication to advancing supplier diversity and their remarkable contributions to the growth and success of 2SLGBTQI+ owned businesses.

This award recognizes the outstanding efforts of an individual, group, organization or corporation in raising awareness and support of the 2SLGBTQI+ Supplier Diversity Program in Canada.


Exporter of the Year

Margaret Coons, Nuts For Cheese

This award recognizes the efforts and success of an 2SLGBTQI+ Business Enterprise in expanding its business globally.


Certified Supplier of the Year

Stanley Wu, Canvasea

This title recognizes the participation, efforts and success of a CGLCC-certified 2SLGBTQI+ Business Enterprise in maximizing their certification.
