Proud to Vote 2021: A National Debate on 2S2SLGBTQI+ Issues

Date: September 14th at 1 PM

As Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce, we are dedicated to elevating and connecting 2SLGBTQI+ businesses in Canada while also fostering 2SLGBTQI+ inclusion and diversity. The upcoming federal election is a key opportunity to advance our work and continue to invest in 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs.

To support you in the decision making process, we are working with a variety of national 2S2SLGBTQI+ organizations and networks to present a national discussion and debate on 2S2SLGBTQI+ issues with representatives of major Canadian political parties leading up to the 2021 federal election.

This event will be a registration-only Zoom webinar that will also be broadcast live on Youtube. The registration link is below. The event will be interpreted in both English and French.

The format will be a bilingual moderator guiding the conversation. Representatives of different organizations will pose 6-7 questions to party representatives on a range of 2S2SLGBTQI+IQ+ issues of interest to Canadians. Each party will have 2 to 3 minutes to share their party’s stance on the issue. Parties will be asked to make brief opening remarks of 2 minutes each.
