Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity and Inclusion in the Tourism Industry Workshops
You’ve heard it before: change comes from within. Before you invite 2SLGBTQI+ travellers to your destination in droves, make sure your workplace is an inclusive environment for 2SLGBTQI+ employees and customers. Remember that people aren’t always “out” or visible, and that you may not have representation on your staff or in your client base for a reason.
Schedule a ‘Navigating 2SLGBTQI+ Diversity and Inclusion in the Tourism Industry’ workshop facilitated by the CGLCC to learn the basics of an 2SLGBTQI+-inclusive vocabulary, space, and workplace.
Included in the workshop is a self-paced online course to first get you up to speed on the many different 2SLGBTQI+ communities. Once you attend the workshop, you’ll leave with a certificate acknowledging your participation and action items to transform your workplace into an 2SLGBTQI+ safe space.
