Announcing the 2024 2SLGBTQI+ Business Leadership Awards’ Finalists

Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) is proud to announce the Finalists for the 2024 Business Leadership Awards. These awards celebrate and honour individuals and companies who have helped champion diversity, inclusion, and economic growth in the Canadian 2SLGBTQI+ community.

On Friday November 1, 2024, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and esteemed business leaders from across the country will gather at The Carlu in Toronto to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ business community during an evening of dazzling entertainment, experience-sharing, networking, and joy.

The Business Leadership Awards celebrate outstanding individuals and companies that have played a significant role in driving economic growth within Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ community. They honour those who have created positive change and fostered a thriving business environment.

“Every year we get to come together and celebrate people who haven’t just succeeded within the 2SLGBTQI+ community, but also in the business sector, which is no easy task,” said Darrell Schuurman, Co-Founder and CEO of CGLCC. “We exist to support 2SLBGTQI+ business owners in whatever ventures they pursue, and we know how important it is to acknowledge these achievements in the community year-round.”

This year, the 9th Annual Black & White Gala’s theme, Do, Dare, Dazzle, promises a night of fabulous fun, incredible entertainment, and meaningful connections.

The evening’s entertainment will include a dazzling lineup of performers including 3-time JUNO award-nominated artist, Shawnee Kish; Hollywood Jade, presenting “G-Slay Quoi”; the most Glamorous Queen in captivity, Carlotta Carlisle; Toronto-based inclusive circus, Rainbow Circus; and DJ Donovan on deck who’ll keep the beats flowing and the crowd dancing all night long!
