Breaking Bread: The Importance of Supplier Diversity in Food and CPG Industries

A global perspective on inclusive procurement and innovation within the food chain

This round table discussion aims to explore the driving forces behind successful supplier diversity initiatives within the food and CPG industries. The focus will be on sharing success stories and discussing best practices for establishing relationships with diverse suppliers, as well as taking supplier diversity efforts to the next level.

As the food industry relies heavily on international supply chains, the discussion will also touch on the Canadian perspective and the challenges and opportunities that come with managing global supply chains. Additionally, we will explore how supplier diversity programs can be tied into broader ESG initiatives to create a more comprehensive approach to sustainability.

Ultimately, the goal of this round table is to stimulate an open conversation and gain insights on how best to support supplier diversity programs within the food and CPG space. By discussing global supply chains and ESG practices, we hope to inspire new ideas and solutions for promoting diversity and sustainability in the industry.
